Take a dip into the Character Well with me, Josh! I'm not your every-day voice actor. My unique voice is like a mix between ‘Bobcat’ from police academy or ‘Badger’ from Breaking Bad. It's certainly different than what audiences are used to hearing, which helps to capture the attention of your audience!

I pride myself on being a hard-working risk taker who is not afraid to dig deep with unique vocal qualities and a range of distinct characters from the quirky, comedic to authentically organic. I've been training and performing improv at the Sea Tea Comedy Theater in Hartford, CT for over 5 years. This experience has prepared me to be ready to ad-lib and create dynamic characters quickly, which lends itself to voice acting quite well I've found!

I've trained and studied under great coaches like Pat Fraley, Deb Munro, Daniel MK Cohen amongst other great minds and voices through workshops. I was a part of the Voiceover Network's Accelerator Program with Rachael Naylor. I have a great font of knowledge I've been given to apply to my work.

I love playing characters. A character is symbolic, they have a group of qualities that make them unique individual beings. If you have a story to tell, your characters will be the ones spouting it, and I will spring to find different ways to spray it

I work from my professional quality booth from my home in Connecticut  which is a couple hour train ride from New York. If I'm needed in the Big Apple, that can be arranged! I perform regularly at Sea Tea, and work with their Touring Company. I also write and host trivia for Pub Trivia Nerds. So I'm always performing, someway, somehow, to keep my performance skills sharp!

I always save enough time to get around to any incoming jobs, and offer 24-48 turnaround time if not faster! I highly value your time as much as my own. I have Source Connect standard for live recording needs! Let's create together sometime!

Reed Kavner, Creator of Low Tide FM

Josh is reliable, responsive, and a lot of fun. I came to him in search of a voice for an absurd character on the scripted comedy podcast Low Tide. He understood the brief, made it his own through smart, colorful choices, and brought to life one of the show's most memorable characters.
